Spring Has Sprung

Bethany’s new series of artwork, “Spring Has Sprung”, features her signature line of animal characters engaging in the fun activities of Spring, including decorating Easter eggs, jumping in puddles, tiptoeing through the tulips, and more. She’s already working on new designs to add to this collection!

Her “Spring Has Sprung” Collection is available in our Etsy store:

  • digital printable pages with coordinating paper packs, paper ribbons, and journaling spots
  • wirebound 4.25″x5″ notebooks for journaling, scrapbooking, etc

Catch me if you can!

We are quite fond of gingerbread people here at Darcy Place Studio. It’s one of our favorite holiday traditions.

We found some wonderful gingerbread people designs over at Zazzle.com that are on the top of our wish lists! We really like the dissected gingerbread man and the gingerbread man with the “no-bite-himself” collar. Too cute!

Bear in My Stocking

bjm_bear-stocking_squareIt’s rather fun seeing our designs come to life and here’s a new one for you!

It features Bethany’s Brown Bear design hanging out with a candy cane in a Christmas stocking.

Bethany stitched this cute design in red, green, brown, and white using raised satin stitch and outline stitch. The fabric is a square 6×6 hem-stitched piece of 60/40 linen we purchased from one of our new favorite online stores All About Blanks (look for hem-stitched table linens…these are the 6×6 cocktail napkins).

To turn this into an ornament, Bethany will add a second napkin as the back, sew the two pieces together, stuff with poly-fiber, and weave a ribbon through the hem-stitching holes.

For instructions on how to make the ornament, you can download a pdf at All About Blanks.
